Programme Manager – Internal Audit and Risk

This position will play a key role in the Finance & Corporate Services Department. As Internal Audit and Risk Manager you will oversee and co-ordinate the internal audit function working closely with the out-sourced service provider. The role will work with all Departments across SEAI ensuring all internal audit recommendations are implemented. The role will also manage the Risk Management Strategy within SEAI ensuring both Risk Appetite and Registers are kept up to date and address key risks of the Organisation. The role will also review governance issues in a proactive way addressing concerns and identifying mitigating actions and controls. Programme Manager Energy Statistics

The Data and Insights team at SEAI is responsible for informing evidence-based policy and decision-making and the implementation of sustainable energy solutions through the provision of policy-relevant research & guidance, robust evidence and energy modelling and statistics.

This position will play a key role in the Data and Insights Department. As Programme Manager, you will also provide project support to the overall work of the Data and Insights Department.

Senior Energy Modelling Specialists x 3

In response to a scaling of climate action in Ireland SEAI is expanding its capacity to inform effective climate action. We will be appointing three (3) separate Senior Energy Modelling Experts to develop analytical outputs to inform and drive essential climate action. They will be responsible for coordinating technical analyses and generating effective and actionable communications for policy makers. All three Senior Energy Modelling Specialists will join an analytical and technically expert team within SEAI who are focussed on understanding energy systems and providing evidencebased solutions to inform decision-making. These roles are responsible for leading on the generation, collation, interpretation and communication of detailed energy data and trends.

Programme Executive - Procurement

This is a diverse role providing support to the Procurement Manager in the areas of procurement, purchase order approval and contract management. SEAI spends approximately €50m per annum through procurement with up to 25 tender competitions held annually. The Procurement Executive will be required to manage the end to end procurement process from initial review of Request for Tenders through to issuing of contract. He/she and will be responsible for ensuring that this process is operating efficiently and effectively. He/she will also have sole responsibility for the review and approval of all purchase orders /purchase requisitions on behalf of the Authority.

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in a customer service role and will have a thorough knowledge, experience and understanding of public sector procurement practices and information compliance across the public sector.

Programme Assistant – Accounts Payable

The role

This position will play a key role in the Finance & Corporate Services Department.  As Programme Assistant – Accounts Payable you will be responsible for the processing payments across a range of SEAI schemes as well as being a key point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s sustainable energy initiatives. The Programme Assistant will also work with the broader finance team in relation to a wide variety of tasks including grants compliance, auditing, accounts preparation along with various projects.

Programme Executive – Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) and High Performance Retrofit

This position will play a key role in the Research & Technology Department.  As Programme Executive you will support the implementation of the Nearly-Zero Energy Building and high-performance retrofit standards.
