IS 393 Energy Management System training Courses

IS393 Energy Management Systems Introduction Course

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland have developed a management systems oriented course to support companies in the Energy Agreements programme, their consultants and certification bodies. It will give those who have or will have responsibility for the operation of an energy management system an understanding of how the management system elements are implemented and certified against the requirements of IS393. This will be of assistance to those who are considering implementing and/or certifying an Energy Management System to IS393.

Whilst there are some technical aspects to the course, those looking for more in depth technical energy review techniques should attend the companion course "IS393 Technical Systems Assessor".

Delegates with previous experience in auditing Environmental Management Systems or similar will find this course of value in enhancing their audit skills to audit against the requirements of IS393. However, please note that the course does not cover formal training on management systems audit skills.

Course Format

The course will be presented in an activity-based learning format, with two assignments during the first day and a full Case Study exercise on the second day.
