Scoil Ide, Clondalkin received their second green school flag for saving energy last April. A day of fun and celebrations were had by all. Many visitors turned up to see the raising of the flag and among these guests was Guzzler. The children were familiar with the character Guzzler from the energy resources and books they cover in school and they were delighted to see him there on the day. Guzzler visited all the classrooms afterwards where the children took photos with him and were amazed to meet him. It was a fantastic way of reinforcing the concept of saving energy and everyone really enjoyed meeting Guzzler. |
