SEAI regrets to announce that, due to budgetary constraints, SEAI’s Renewable Energy Information Office will close on January 27th 2012. It is no longer possible to maintain a separate information office for renewable energy, however SEAI will continue to provide a wealth of information on renewable energy resources and technologies, including events, publications and support materials (see menu on left). SEAI also intends to continue circulation of the very popular E-Update newsletter. SEAI acknowledge the contribution of the Renewable Energy Information Office (SEAI REIO) since its establishment in 1995. Over this period, the team in the office has assisted with the increasing exploitation of renewable energy in Ireland by addressing key information needs of stakeholders in the sector.
