Vehicle Importers planning to import Electric Vehicles (i.e. Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)) which meet the Vehicle performance criteria as outlined, may apply to register their company name and vehicle products with SEAI for inclusion in the EV Grant Scheme.  Once approved, a Vehicle Importer then has the right to nominate individual authorised Dealers and Vehicle types to SEAI for participation in the Scheme.
